HSBMC set for July 3

The High Sierra Beard and Moustache Championships will take place at the Village at Squaw Valley on the evening of July 3, 2007, as part of the pre-fireworks festivities.

Organizers are hoping to award cash prizes to the winners in the best full beard, best partial beard, and best moustache categories. All participants in the popular kids' division will be awarded great prizes. Last year's crowd favorites Jack Passion and Burke Kenny have promised to return.

Happy Third of July!

Hi Chris,

What details do you need? Competition starts at 6 pm. Registration at 5. Nearest airport -- Reno. Rent a car and drive 50 minutes. We're hoping to offer cash prizes, but that depends on what we can get from sponsors. Squaw Valley is close to North Lake Tahoe, great place to celebrate the Fourth. It is a very busy time so make lodging reservations early.

Cheers,
Phil

That's pretty much it. I needed a town (I guess "High Sierra" IS the town) and a time and stuff. Don't think I can go but my friend (also Chris) is looking for beard competitions he can attend. :)
